Ya'aburnee

You know, Romaisa, today I learned that in Arabic, they don't say "I love you." Instead, they say “ya'aburnee.”

It roughly translates to “you bury me”, but the meaning runs much deeper than the words themselves.

It's an expression of a love so deep that it says: “When the time comes, I hope I go before you, because I can’t imagine living in a world without you — that I hope you bury me before I have to live without you.”

I know we’re still at the beginning of our journey, and there are so many memories left for us to make — but the feeling behind those words still holds very true:

A world without you, Romaisa, just wouldn’t be a world worth living in for me. It’s all pointless if it’s not with you, Romaisa.
